Thomas Wee is the Senior Advisor at N2Growth Executive Search in Singapore. He brings extensive talent acquisition expertise to the Southeast Asia and APAC region, along with his knowledge of a variety of regulatory environments across an array of national and corporate cultures, enabling him to identify and facilitate the search for the right executive candidates for our clients.

Having established and selected the leaders for many of his operations and start-ups in the Asia Pacific region, he is in a solid position to ensure successful outcomes by matching candidates’ personalities to the enterprise’s corporate culture and the business lifecycle.

Thomas moved to Hong Kong in 1999 and became General Manager of a subsidiary of HSBC Bank Group, responsible for shared services. During his tenure, he established enterprises in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Dongguan with both state-owned enterprises and private entities to actualize Build, Lease, Operate, Transfer (BLOT) projects to capture opportunities in China.

He led the management buyout of the companies in 2007 to form Novation Solutions Ltd. He expanded the customer base for shared services to include most of the Fortune 500 financial institutions in Greater China. In 2015, he returned to Singapore to form and lead one of the region’s largest outsourced share services enterprises with operations in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, and the Philippines.

To further the group’s digital strategy thematically, he founded IT start-ups in 2016 that would focus on the financial flows of the two ecosystems: Managed healthcare in Hong Kong in partnership with MHC Singapore and Alternative financing for the supply chain in partnership with Esker SA.

Thomas holds an MBA (IT Management) from the University of Leicester, a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the University of London, and Diplomas in Mechanical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and Photolithography from the London College of Printing.
