Our client has become a major global player in customer experience and rapidly making waves in the market. In part due to the industry dynamics and driven by the company’s forward-looking strategy, this client had experienced significant growth organically and inorganically over the past few years and expected such growth to continue.
As we progressed through the search, our iterative feedback revealed that this rapid growth had caused the company’s portfolio of offerings to appear like a disorganized catalog for clients to search through. We understood that they weren’t just seeking a Chief Technology Officer; they needed an experienced transformation leader who could bring a solution-oriented mindset to their consulting practice. And at the same time, this leader would need to lead internal digital transformation and significantly enhance the company’s externally-facing digital transformation service line.
Like many of our clients, this one also placed a high value on candidates with diverse backgrounds and sought candidates whose experience differed from what is most common in their industry.
