Found your page through another site…all I can say is WOW! Many nights will be reading and learning from your blog. The blogs will help keep from so many un-leader like moments by thinking of myself as the primary focus of growth. I think one reason why most people don’t consistently take the time to invest in others is because they feel like they have to be looking out for their best interest or no one else will. Although I can understand this mentality, I have found that when you make a sincere effort to invest in others, you not only have one person looking out for you but an army.

You bring up many great points but one that stood out to me was the fact that most know what it takes to build influence but they aren’t willing to put in the work. Maybe this is due to the fact that they view building influence as an end result instead of a journey. They see the big picture and all the time, energy and effort involved and they get overwhelmed and don’t even make an attempt.

Similar to achieving anything of significance in life, taking it one step at a time while being immersed and engaged in the journey, makes this goal of becoming influential worthwhile and possible.
